Kiblind Atelier Poster Flowers.jpg 12 x 17in Luca Bjørnsten
Luca Bjørnsten reinterprets pink tulips through the viewfinder of an old digital camera: this is the idea behind "Screen," the series by the Danish illustrator that superimposes a soft, pop pencil aesthetic onto the retro interface of 2000s cameras. Exposure indicators, ISO 100, yellow focus brackets: the floral scene becomes a screen, and the image gains that dual nostalgic and contemporary reading that makes the piece so unique.
Printed by KIBLIND Atelier using risograph on 150g Munken Print White paper, it benefits from the slightly textured and vibrant rendering quality characteristic of the riso technique, which perfectly reproduces the saturated pink-blue tones of the illustration. Delivered packaged with a rigid cardboard backing for protection during transport.
